William Greaves (1) married Sarah Burland on 17 Aug. 1795 in Pontefract, Yorkshire, England. She was born 2 April 1775 and died 9 July 1841, both in Knottingley, Yorkshire. (R-1)

Benjamin Greaves (6) was born 3 Jan. 1808, and died 11 Oct. 1835 in an accident. He was a mariner. He married Mary Johnson, daughter of Thomas and Hannah Johnson, on 2 Dec. 1827 in Pontefract, Yorkshire, England. Thomas Johnson was a master mariner. Mary was born 19 March 1809 and died 1836. (R-1)

CHILDREN OF BENJAMIN GREAVES (6) AND MARY JOHNSON

Hannah Ramskill Greaves (10) was baptized 20 June 1830, died 16 April 1917, and was buried at Pyramid Hill, Victoria, Australia. She married Thomas Bramley, Jr. of Snaith, Yorkshire, England on 19 Sept. 1849 in Knottingley, Yorkshire. He was baptized 16 April 1826 and died 20 Sept. 1867, murdered. He was the son of Maria Miller and Capt. Thomas Bramley, mariner.

Thomas Bramley was born 6 June 1788 and died 1 July 1857, both in Snaith. He married Maria Miller on 10 Oct. 1814 in Pontefract. She was born 5 Jan. 1794 in Knottingley, and died 8 Oct. 1851 in Snaith.

Thomas Bramley, Jr. was a brother of Maria Bramley who married James Graves, son of John Graves and Susanna Hinsley, on 6 Feb. 1849 at Snaith. (R-1)

She was born 28 Nov. 1854 at sea on the ship "Asia" (when her parents were on their way to Australia), died 29 April 1950 in Bendigo, Victoria, Australia, and was buried in Bendigo Cem. (R-1)
