Charles H. Graves (1) was born about 1836 in VA. He married Mary Ann Ellyson. She was born about 1836 in VA. They were in the 1870 census for Richmond, Monroe Ward, Richmond, VA. (R‑1)

CHILDREN OF CHARLES H. GRAVES (1) AND MARY ANN ELLYSON

John Wesley Graves (2) was born about 1861 in VA. He first married Jennie Ann Avery. He married second Sarah C. Brannam about 1897. She was born in April 1858 in VA. She had been married previously to Mr. Brannam. They were in the 1900 census for Tuckahoe, Henrico Co., VA, with her 5 living children. He was a printer. (R‑1)

10. Ella L. Graves, died at age 6.

11. Mary J. Graves, died at age 2 months.

Effie L. Graves (4) was born in July 1868 in VA. She married Alexander L. Tuck about 1890. He was born in Feb. 1862 in VA. They were in the 1900 census for Tuckahoe, Henrico Co., VA, and in the 1910 census for Richmond, VA. He was a pressman with a printing company. All their children were born in VA. (R‑1)
