He married Mary Spencer on 18 June 1830 in St. Oswald, Ashbourne, Derbyshire. She was born in 1805 in Duffield, Derbyshire, was baptized 31 March 1805 in Duffield, Derby., died in March 1869 in Great Easton, Leics., and was buried 23 March 1869 in Great Easton. His religion was Church of England. The 1851 census listed Thomas as surgeon, L.A.C., London and village doctor, Great Easton, and Mary as wife of medical practitioner. All their children were born in Great Easton, Leics. (R-1)

She belonged to the church of England, and was head of her own private school in Luton until marriage in the 1960's. Alexander was b. 24 Dec. 1906 in (White) Russia, and d. Dec. 1980 in Greenwich, CT, USA?). He was manager for Tyler's, a large U.S. company dealing in piping.
