Ann Greaves (5) was born 11 March 1657 in Birmingham, Warwickshire, England. She married William Green about 1685. He was born about 1650 in Cumberworth, Lincolnshire, England. (R‑1)

CHILDREN OF JOHN GREAVES (4) AND ANN FOXE

Thomas Greaves (6) was born 9 Feb. 1660 in St. Martin, Birmingham, Warwickshire, and died in 1721 in Oxton, Notts. He married Mary Sprously on 6 Nov. 1683. She was born about 1661 or 1662 in Birmingham. Both their children were born or baptized in Oxton, Nottinghamshire, England. (Note that Oxton is only about 5 miles from Lowdham, where many members of genealogy 470 lived.) (R‑1, R‑2)

Samuel Greaves (9) was born 29 Jan. 1692 and died in March 1739, both in Oxton, Nottinghamshire, England. He married Ann Green, daughter of William Green and Ann Greaves (#5), on 19 Nov. 1721. She was born 15 July 1694 in Cumberworth, Lincolnshire, England, and died 19 April 1738. All their children were born in Oxton, Nottinghamshire. (R‑1)

Hannah Greaves (17) was born 3 Sept. 1735 in Oxton, Nottinghamshire, and died 27 Jan. 1734. She married John Lamb, son of William Lamb and Mary Fairhome, on 6 Feb. 1759 in Nottinghamshire. He was born 4 Feb. 1734 and died 9 July 1809, both in Oxton, Nottinghamshire. All their children were born in Oxton. (R‑2)

John Lamb (23) was born 10 Nov. 1770 in Lowdham, Nottinghamshire, and died 12 Aug. 1851 in Oxton, Nottinghamshire. He married Ann Giles, daughter of Joseph Giles and Ann Fairholm, on 11 Jan. 1802 in Lowdham. She was born 7 July 1776 in Lowdham, and died 25 Sept. 1844 in Orston, Nottinghamshire. All their children were born in Nottinghamshire, at least the first 2 in Lowden. (R‑3)
