John ("Ponie") Graves (1) was born in Sept. 1847 in AL, possibly Blount Co. He married, and his first wife died about 1898 in TX. He secondly married Fannie ------. John and his first wife moved to Texas between 1871 and 1875. He was listed in the Rockwall Co. census in 1900, but it is not known where they lived before that. The first child was born in AL, and the others in TX. (R-1)

James William Graves (2) was born in Oct. 1870 in AL, and died 11 June (or 6 Nov.) 1939. He married Eddie Mae Tinnon. She died 21 Jan. 1944. (R-1)

Jessie Lee Graves (3) was born 8 Sept. 1875 in Texas, and died 27 Dec. 1963 in Kaufman, TX. She married William Albert Warren, son of Robert Lee Warren and Amanda Ann Mace, on 28 April 1906 in Kaufman, TX. He was born in 1857 in Tippah, MS, and died in 1925 in Kaufman, TX. He was a direct descendant of Thomas Warren of Surry, VA, who arrived in 1640 from Ripple, Kent, England. All their children were born in Kaufman, TX. (R-1)
