The Greaves family members were apparently often called by their middle names, so Samuel William Greaves is found as William in the 1841 census for Bath Street, Leamington Priors, Warwickshire, and his son Alfred Frederick is found as Frederick in later records. She was born about 1833 in Appleton, Northamptonshire (or Leamington, Warwickshire), was christened 6 May 1832 in Aston le Walls, Warwickshire, and died 23 March 1910 in Palmerston North, New Zealand.
