Rev. 4 Dec. 1995, Gen. 383
DESCENDANTS OF FRANCIS GRAVES AND MARY KIRK
OF SOUTH CROXTON, NEAR LEICESTER, ENGLAND
GENERATION 1
Francis Graves (1) was buried 17 June 1732. He married Mary Kirk on 12 June 1696 in South Croxton, near Leicester, Leicestershire, England. All their children were baptized in South Croxton, and were probably also born there.
It was previously thought that Francis Graves and Mary Kirk were the ancestors of part of the family that is now known to descend from Robert Greeves of Great Dalby, Leicestershire (gen. 383). Although there is presently no known connection between the 2 families, they may be related, since they lived in the same general area. (R-1)
