in Wemyss, Fife, Scotland. He
married second Elizabeth Elspeth Smith, daughter of Robert Smith and Agnes
Wallace, on 3 June 1809 in Largo, Fife, Scotland. She was born 11 Nov. 1778 in Kimbalk, Ceres, Fife, Scotland,
and died 28 June 1859. Their children
were born and baptized in Ceres, Scotland. There was a Thomas Grieve, age 75, in the 1841 census for
Dysart, Fife, Scotland with Hellen Knox, age 60 living with him, but it is
unclear exactly which Thomas Grieve he was. (R‑1)
