Rev. 19 July 2012, Gen. 520
DESCENDANTS OF JACOB GRAVES OF NOVA SCOTIA, CANADA
GENERATION 1
Jacob Graves (1) married Gertrude or Catherine ‑‑‑‑‑‑. The IGI lists the first and third child below by Gertrude and the second and fourth by Catherine. Although it is possible they are two separate wives married to two different men named Jacob, both living in the same place, it seems more likely that this is only one couple and the wife is named Gertrude Catherine or Catherine Gertrude. Another possibility is that Jacob married twice and one child was not baptized in birth order. All baptisms were in St. Stephen's Anglican Church, Chester, Nova Scotia, Canada. No baptism record has been found for son Jacob Graves, and his placement as a son is speculation based on his name and the records of St. Stephen's being where he had his children baptized, and no other candidates for his parents being found. (R‑1, R‑2)
