He married Elizabeth Goold, daughter of Thomas Goold and Ann Case, on 18 Sept. 1825 in Swaffham, Norfolk. She was born in Swaffham, Norfolk, and was baptized there 3 May 1804. He married Hannah Stroulger, daughter of William Stroulger and Elizabeth Wootten, in 1860 in Northampton, Northamptonshire. She was born in Haslingfield, Cambridgeshire, and was baptized there 6 Feb. 1838. They were in the 1891 census for St. Giles, Northampton. All their children were born in Northampton, Northamptonshire. (R‑1, R‑2)
