John Greaves (1) married Linda Archibald, daughter of A. Archibald and Rachel Webber. She died in 1936. She was of East Zorra, Ontario, and they farmed on the lower side road, lot 5, con. 13. (R-1)

2. John Greaves; remained on the home farm until he retired to Stratford, Ontario.

+3. Adeline Greaves, m. Charles Jackson.

4. Robert Greaves, m. ------. He went west for some time but returned to the farm a widower. No children.

5. William Greaves; was away for some years but returned to the farm.

6. Nora Greaves, never married. Lived and died on the home farm.

7. Blanche Greaves; became a nurse. While delirious with a fever, she jumped out of a hospital window and was an invalid the rest of her life, which she spent on the farm.

8. Amy Greaves; took a business, but later returned home to assist in the care of Blanche. She rertired to Stratford with John.

9. Margaret Greaves, m. Joseph Crozier. She was a Victorian Order Nurse in Woodstock, Ontario for some years before marrying. Joseph was a businessman in Startford, Ontario. No children.

CHILDREN OF JOHN GREAVES (1) AND LINDA ARCHIBALD

Adeline Greaves (3) married Charles Jackson. They settled on lot 8, con. II in East Zorra, Ontario. There was a creek fed by a spring on this farm, and the Jacksons developed a resort with a swimming area and cabins. This was improved by the next generation and became a favorite resort spot for many. (R-1)
