GENERATION 1

Leon Graves (1) was born about 1850 in Quebec (French Canada), Canada. He married Rosella (or Roxanna) ‑‑‑‑‑‑. She was born about 1855 in Quebec, Canada. He was in the 1870 census for Fairfield, Franklin Co., VT, page 197, living in the household of Hollis Wanzer as a farm laborer. They were in the 1880 census for Templeton Twp., Worcester Co., MA, page 40D, with him listed as Leon, 30, laborer, Rosella, 25, and children Leon, 4, and John, 2. They were in the 1900 census for Templeton Twp., Worcester Co., MA, with him listed as Leander (difficult to read), 49, laborer in chair shop, Roxanna, 45, and 5 children. Their first child was born in VT, the next 2 in NH, and the others in MA.

CHILDREN OF LEON GRAVES (1) AND ROSELLA ------

Frank G. Graves (5) was born 6 March 1883 in MA. He married Almanda ‑‑‑‑‑‑ about 1905. She was born about 1886 in Quebec, and died in 1971. The 1900 census for Templeton Twp., Worcester Co., MA, page 5B, listed Frank, 26, sawyer in chair shop, Maud G., 23, sons Clifford and Wilfred, and nieces Isabel and Mary L. Graves. The 1910 census for Baldwinville, Templeton Twp., Worcester Co., MA, page 98, listed Frank G., 37, Almada, 34, 4 sons, and niece Isabelle. All their children were born in MA. (R‑1)
