Watkins and Maria ‑‑‑‑‑‑, about 1841. She was born about 1823 in King and Queen Co., VA, and died 4 Dec. 1887 in Henrico Co., VA. CHILDREN OF RICHARD T. GRAVES (1) AND NANCY WATKINS

Caleb Hiter Graves (3) was born in Nov. 1844 (or 1846[1]) in King and Queen Co., VA, died in Jan. 1917 in Henrico Co., VA[2], and was buried at New Bridge Baptist Church, in Fair Oaks, Henrico Co., VA. He first married Sarah Jane Marshall, daughter of Thomas Marshall and Lucy Taylor, on 14 Jan. 1869 in Hanover Co., VA[3]. She was born in 1848 in Spotsylvania Co., VA, and died 8 Feb. 1887 in Gravel Hill, Henrico Co., VA. This family was recorded on the 1880 census in Henrico Co., VA. He married second Sarah (“Sallie”) Frances West, daughter of John West and Temperance ‑‑‑‑‑‑, on 16 May 1888. She was born in Oct. 1852 in Henrico Co., VA, died 15 Dec. 1916[4] in Fair Oaks, VA, and was also buried in New Bridge Baptist Church Cem. George Marshall Graves (17) was born 16 May 1875 in Fairfield, Henrico Co., VA, died 23 Feb. 1909 of typhoid fever in a hospital in Richmond, VA, and was buried in Riverview Cem., plat E, section 33, grave 3, Richmond, VA. His gravestone was inscribed:

He married Irene Janet (or Jeanette) Selph, daughter of Edgar William Selph and Columbia Alice Covington, on 4 June 1902 in Caroline Co., VA[9]. After George died, she married John A. Hicks and had a son, Allie Melvin Hicks. She was born 27 May 1884 in Ideal Post Office, Caroline Co., VA, and died 3 Sept. 1976 in Fair Oaks, Henrico Co., Co., VA. (R‑1, R‑2)
