This section of the GFA website has been created to help people learn more about their Graves/Greaves ancestry. Some of the ways information about related families has already helped or may help in the future to find ancestry and increase knowledge of Graves/Greaves families are the following:

• Finding autosomal DNA matches with the family of wives. This has been helpful with the Davenport family's connection to genealogy 270. It may also be helpful for genealogy 169 if Croshaw matches are found.
• Finding mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) matches to the wife of a Graves/Greaves descendant.
• Finding matching or similar names and other information in a non-Graves genealogy.
